Obituary

Alfred Temple, Jr., 51, of Lake Ariel, PA, died Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Regional Hospital, Scranton, after an illness.

Born June 2, 1969 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Alfred, Sr. and Irene Nolasco Temple.

Al was a Born-Again Christian and was a member of the Canaan Bible Baptist Church. His favorite scripture was John 3:16. He strongly believed that everyone was a sinner, and needed to ask God for forgiveness so they can meet him again in Heaven. Al enjoyed spending time with his family, reading God's word, RVing and camping. He was also a master woodworker and an excellent cook. His famous motto was "It's not broken until Al says it's broken. After that...it's broken broken."

Al was a longtime member of the Friends of Gettysburg National Military Park, The NRA, the Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association and the America Woodworkers Association.

He is survived by his wife: Tina; his children: Emily, Amanda, AJ and Scott Henry; his grandchild: Lane, Jr.; two sisters: Judy and Phyllis; and his nephew: Charlie.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Cremation Care of NEPA.
