Elaine A. Dennis, 77, formerly of Jessup, PA, died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Carbondale Nursing Center, Carbondale, PA, after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Dennis, of Archbald, PA.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John Nosek and the late Agnes Gitch Meka. She was the step-daughter of the late Joseph Meka.

Elaine enjoyed antiques, yard sales, coffee, gardening and nature. She loved her grandchildren and often took them on adventures. She always had a smile for others and would strike up a conversation with whomever she met in the coffee shop. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by a daughter: Melissa Nosek Gibbs and husband, William; her granddaughter: Kayla Gibbs; her great-grandson: William Hawkins; three step-children: Tammy Dennis, John Dennis and Charles Dennis, Jr.; additional grandchildren: Kiersten, Rylee, Gabby and Nathan; and her other great-grandchildren: Travin and Graff.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Richard Nosek and Joseph Meka.

As per Elaine's request there will be no services.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Cremation Care of NEPA.
