Evelyn A. Keneally, 98, of Carbondale, PA, died Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Kadima Rehab and Nursing at Luzerne, Drums, PA. She was the wife of the late James P. Keneally.

Born March 3, 1923 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mamie Schmidt Kopecky.

She is survived by three granddaughters: Christine Gurzler and husband, James of Drums, PA, Kathleen Lochheed of Carbondale, PA; and Laura Lochheed of Harmony, NJ; three great-grandchildren: Matthew, Andrew and Daniel.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia Keneally; and two sisters: Josephine McGuirr and Infant Mae.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Cremation Care of NEPA.
