Frances S. Young, 78, of Jefferson Township, PA, died Friday, August 27, 2021 at Allied Hospice, Scranton, PA. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry E. Young, Sr.

Born May 15, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Freda Lang Elliott.

She is survived by five children: Harry Young, Jr., and wife, Kristina, Barbara Young and husband, Walt, Melissa Conaty and husband, Ed, Adam Young and wife, Christine and Nick Young; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers: Robert, Thomas, John, Michael and Richard Elliott; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cortez United Methodist Church, 967 Cortez Road, Jefferson Township, PA.
