Obituary
Lawrence L. Gilbert, 59, of Wilkes Barre, PA, died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Born March 23, 1961 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late James E., Sr. and Florence Free Gilbert.
He is survived by his fiancé: Sharon Hartwig; two sisters: Florence Wallace and Pauline Mitchell; three brothers: Robert and Gus Vassas and James Gilbert, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister: Janet Sisgworth.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Cremation Care of NEPA.
